The library’s catalog is on the Internet. Go to the library’s home page and click on the button titled “Library Catalog.” Note that this button does not work inside the library. Also, an updated browser may be needed for the catalog to work.
From the catalog, you can search by author, title, subject, or keyword to find what materials the library owns. It will also show whether it is in or out. Various pictures/icons next to the title show what type of material it is, such as large print or book on CD. You can also click on the title for more information.
Using the “My Library” tab, you can enter your Last Name and Patron ID to find out what materials you have checked out, due dates, fines, and holds. Your Patron ID is the 3- or 4-digit number on the back of your library card. Our catalog now allows for holds to be placed. Click on the item you wish to reserve, then click on the Hold button, and enter your patron ID and surname.
If you have problems using the catalog, there is a “Help” function. Just click on the “?” at the top right of the screen. If you still have problems you may call the library at 679-3627 or send an email for help.
